Over the last decade, the number of combat soldiers suffering from Traumatic Brain Injuries has grown substantially. The Pain and Central Nervous System Weekly (March 15, 2010) noted that nearly 320,000 soldiers have suffered some sort of TBI since the United States entered Afghanistan in 2001. In February of 2010, Texas Congressman Pete Sessions (32nd District) introduced HR 4568: The TBI Treatment Act, which would provide assistance to ensure that every Traumatic Brain Injury victim gets an accurate assessment of their condition and receives optimal treatment until they have fully recovered from their condition. It is vital that this bill passes to help our veterans who are suffering from this new "signature" injury in the military today. Please show your support for the beneficial HR 4568: The TBI Treatment Act. Thank You
