Yet another spending blip by public services; this time in the Metropolitan Police. As our economy struggles to lift, retail is trailing, government are making far reaching cuts and the cost of food, fuel and gas and electricity are going up, PR consultants in the Met are allegedly being paid £1000 per day. Supposedly these consultants are the best in the business and look who is trying to save face now. The Met also allegedly employs another 45 PR journalists at what cost? This is just a small area of expenditure and the full cost to the public needs to be investigated and revealed. Demand a review into public spending and hold the government accountable for squandering your taxes!
