Final supporters
Purpose: Stop proposed property tax increases by the Salina City Commission or the Saline County Board of Commissioners. The undersigned taxpaying citizens of Salina and Saline County object to any increase in the property tax mil levy. While both the City and County may cite inflationary pressures as one reason to increase our taxes, we too are under the same inflationary pressures. As taxpaying citizens, we are asking our respective commissioners to:
• reexamine budget proposals for 2014
• look for additional ways to reduce spending
• consider generating additional revenue by liquidating assets or publicly held property
• please move your meeting times to 6:00 p.m. when voting on the final budget for 2014
Say NO to increasing our property taxes.

Quit raising taxes. We are barely getting by as it is. Find somewhere else to cut the fat.
Why do they always assume we have a bottomless pot of gold? Look at the damn budget and cut the waste before coming after our homes again.
STOP THE INCREASES. People on fixed incomes cant keep up with this constant hiking of taxes.
Enough is enough. My paycheck hasn't gone up in years and these guys want more every single year. Stop spending money we dont have.
Seriously? 6pm meetings are common sense. Some of us actually work and cant make it during the middle of the day. Fix the budget and stop taking from us.
