Comments: Why not make the people that have the kids in school pay the school taxes...bet they would care more how qualified the teachers were then.

Comments: Florida property taxes are what I would expect in Russia or China. We have an unfair tax system that let's one group of people (SOH) pay nothing and new homeowners get burdened with all of the property taxes. Governor Crist and Sen. Pruitt should be IMPEACHED!!

Comments: Being of both parents, Teachers, and from Texas, my thought is that School taxes should be for all that have Children in School, and Single persons, as for as the people of 65, they did their share..I think that all 65's should be exemp from all taxes...other than sales, and still get their SS..Teacher's retirement....etc...or if they have to pay...for those that make more then say $1200 a month, $25 no more and no less a year...and if they make less then that, they pay nothing...it seems the more money that is sent in, the less learning the children do...where does it go and why do the School Dist. suffer
