I am trying to collect as many signatures as possible from people who think that the art of tattoo should not only be learnt from unqualified tattoo artists; who think that "Tattoo Art" should appear as a course in universities; and who have a passion for tattoos but they think that it is still considered to be unacceptable for millions of people. If you think that Tattoo Art should be a professional subject not an amateur art, please sign this petition. *** This petition was created for my course work, for Theatre Studies course, Arts Management module at University of East London. Our goal was to create an event which is,in our opinion, needed. As I would call UEL one of the most urban universities in London, as it has such courses as Urban Dance and Theatre Studies that literally no other university in UK has, I decided that UEL could also be the first university in the world that would have an undergraduate course for people willing to become professional tattoo artists. That would be only a beginning that would encourage other universities worldwide consider a possibility of having such a university course.
