84 AnonymousIt is not to minimize the crime of Tamrat, it is greed, bad judgement, and lack of character. However, no man is without sin, all have sinned and have come short of the glory of God. 1. The time served is enough for a comrade in arms. 2. CUD members who tried to overthrow a democratically elected government through anarchy, is a far greater crime committed against the constitution of Ethiopia to deserve a pardon. I did support the action taken by the government for the sake of peace and healing in the new millenium, thou I am very disappointed when they advocated for HR2003 and sympathised with a self acknowledged terrorist group of OLF. I am not sure and can't predict how well he would behave, if he is pardoned. So I think it is safe to let him loose with parole of five years.
