Comments: "Every society is judged by how it treats it's least fortunate amongst them" Prevent families from living in the streets because of overcrowding shelters. Inadequate living conditions in these places prove unfit for these families as it is psychologically unnerving for them especially young children who don't understand. They gave big corporations and such, bailouts. What did they give the people affected by these irresponsible mishaps? Programs for only selected people who "qualify" to give them "assistance" in their mortgages. Not all of them are alcoholics or mentally ill; in fact, no one these days is safe from becoming homeless. People who had and came from stable environments with good paying jobs, a house and a car are the new homeless victims. Even those with bachelor degrees are falling to homelessness as they rarely find jobs in the areas they studied. Unless the economy improves or more reliable aid is given to the people, such as for the current homeowners or foreclosed victims, squatting is the only reasonable alternative. Keep up the good work! Needy families depend on it! You are the true heroes!

Comments: It has become taken for granted that there are 'homeless' people. The very term 'homeless' acts like some stigmatizing label that those who 'aren't affected' go--'oh, the 'homeless'' as though they suddenly are a different species. But what it really means is that the Styate cut people off from money and support, and in NYC for a vile example will not even allow the people with no bed or shelter to sleep on park benches, or the dirty concrete ground, etyc etc. This is HELL and people take it for granted, as many are whole families thrown onto the streets. This is an IMPOSED hell by the State and so I am right behind this petition which demands we TAKE BACK THE LAND!

Comments: I had always hoped American's would wake up to realize politicians consider us sheep & treat us accordingly. Hail Hail to all who join & speak up!. We were on the cliff's edge, so much work needs to be done. I really thought that no one cared. We may yet prevail!
