Some of you might already be aware of this website and some may not be - either way, this is very important so I really hope you'll take the time to read this and sign the petition. There is a website called Little Gossip, which is available for anybody to access. On this website, anyone from any college/university around the world can anonymously right 'gossip' about somebody else in their college or university. This started off as a bit of a joke, and people just wrote banter and nobody really took much notice of it. Until now. The comments that are being written on this website are unacceptable and severely offensive. Some people just laugh off the comments and say how stupid the website is. But not everyone is like this, some people are very sensitive to these rumours and this is classed as cyber bullying. Not only can anybody write a rumour, but people have the power to 'truth' or 'false' the rumour written and also can write comments on the rumour - most of these comments are endorsing the rumour and spreading more hate about the reciever. This has to stop. It's been going on too long so therefore I made this petition and I hope that you will sign it. Please spread the word and help me get this awful website taken down. Thank you.
