I just refreshed the page and saw we hit a thousand signatures which honestly feels surreal because I was worried nobody would even care about these legal loopholes. It is wild seeing this take off while I am sitting here drinking coffee and thinking about how much potential we are leaving on the table with these mines stalled out.

The momentum is actually picking up and I can barely keep my eyes off the page because if we hit that thousand mark soon it changes everything when we present this to the suits. Seriously tell someone else about this right now since we need to keep this energy moving before they even think about ignoring us again.

I have been hearing from so many people who are just tired of these constant delays and it is clear that I am not the only one feeling this frustration. People keep sending me stories about lost opportunities and I am currently figuring out the best way to get all these concerns in front of the right people because letting this drag on any longer is just not an option.

It's disappointing to see the environmental movement blatantly manipulate the law to progress philosophical ends when the animals in question are clearly protected by the practices outlined in the EIS. A hypocritical stance by a body based hundreds of km away !
Who would invest in an industry where a minority can stop the wishes of the often silent majority and legislation changes based on the perceived value of votes not benefit to our economy. Fix it now or we will pay the cost for a long time to come.
At Fodder King Limited, as positive environmentalists, we are demonstrating that the resources industries and agriculture can be compatible. Particularly where we have developed beneficial-use solutions for wastewater extracted by resources projects.
we need more jobs created in our region and the Carmichael Project is one major way of contributing to this. help grow Mackay and surrounds !!. We can mine conscious of the environment so lets work together to put the guidelines in place.

Mining projects should go through a proper process which provides certainty for all parties that creates a sustainable environment. Australia and Queensland have strict criteria for projects and enables objections throughout process - which should mean that activists do not have a role to play outside of this proper process and if there are objections, there needs to be real impacts and substance behind them. Governments need to follow the agreed process and policy and support resources on this basis given they are one of the biggest contributors to GDP

It has become far too easy for a very small minority (often coached or funded by international NGOs) of poorly informed, or downright dishonest people to jeopardise the Australian economy & derail good projects with numerous benefits to offer our nation.
