Take A Second, To Take A Stand, is something you can do to bring us one step closer to preventing bullying. Although bullying happens everywhere and can happen to anyone it's a cause that some people don't see as major. Lives are lost every 16 minutes to suicide. which means somewhere, someone is feeling so broken, and lost, that they think they only way out is death. If everyone knew the consequences of their own words and actions, bullying could be slowly diminished. It just takes one person to be the defender, rather then the bully. when one person stands up, there is someone else who will follow. Take a second to sign this petition and show that you care about the next life that struggles a little every day to stay alive. Be the reason someone wants to live, not the reason someone wants to die. Be the voice for the person next to you, who's cries arn't loud enough, be the band-aid to someone's scars. Be the person who wants to help. Show these kids that people do care, and there is support out there. Don't let the bullies win, because for every life lost, or scarred wrist, is someone we could have and still can help. So now I am saying TAKE A STAND, be the change.
