Rural Scotland - Working Together to Make the Suffering of Tail Injuries Stop

 

We are petitioning the Scottish Parliament to change the

law to permit prophylactic tail shortening of working dogs

to prevent the suffering that Matty and many other

dogs have experienced.

for Shooting and Conservation, the Scottish Countryside Alliance, the Scottish Gamekeepers Association and the Scottish Rural Property and Business Association, calling on the Scottish Parliament to amend The Prohibited Procedures on Protected Animals (Exemptions) (Scotland)

Regulations 2007 to allow prophylactic tail docking of working dogs under tightly specified circumstances.
