Name: Cindie Reiter on Apr 13, 2007Comments: tag is a unique environment which supports peolpe who have suffered with mental health problems. It is a uniquely warm and supportive environment. If Tag loses funding then a large number of people will suffer and the NHS will ending up spending a significantly larger amount to support people who may well become more ill.Flag

Name: Shirley Taylor on Apr 13, 2007Comments: as a past user of TAG I know how important it is to keep it going. TAG gave me my life back and made me feel a person again instead of a burden to my family and friends. The people who run TAG are so dedicated to helping they put in above and beyond the hours they are paid for. It is the only place like this in Scotland who helps people with mental health issues so it is important it keeps going.Flag

Name: Joh Finlayson on Apr 15, 2007Comments: The time that I spent at the Tag unit in Auchtertyre was instrumental in helping me recover from the post natal depression that I suffered at the time of the breakdown of my marriage. It provided me with the time, space, confidence and strength to come to terms with my situation, and deal with it. I am now untertaking further study to increase my opportunities for employment, and am very grateful for the time that I was able to spend with TAG.Flag

Name: Marjory Jagger on Apr 18, 2007Comments: With Government 's focus on back to work and training initiatives it beggers belief that TAG should be risk as it meets so many objectives. The increased self esteem, confidence and skills this service gives to those who use it is so clearly evidenced by feedback from those past and present who have made use of it.Flag

Name: Ewen, S, White on Apr 23, 2007Comments: What TAG does is provide a service that should be provided by the mental health service as a matter of course. Now you intend, not simply to fail to provide it yourselves, but to prevent anyone else providing it! That is culpably stupid and will put the local mental health development back years! TAG is an important link in the chain. A significant part of the mental health equation, without which, we will all be worse off. TAG has continued to help and support me over the years, as it has done for many others. I would not be where I am now without it. Contact me to get more info.Flag

Name: Sue Reeves on May 3, 2007Comments: I have worked with TAG, both in partnership, and as a volunteer and have first hand knowledge of the excellent service they provide. No other organisation could bridge the gap if TAG were to close. In my opinion, many vulnerable people would suffer if this service were to be withdrawn.Flag

Name: Maggie Manvell on May 8, 2007Comments: In this area there is no other facility to help people with mental health conditions. If TAG came to an end the people would be keft with nothing at all. In addition to giving support and training, TAG helps people into work as and when appropriate, so is benefiting economic development here and government funds.Flag
