We request the Common Council of the City of Brookfield to table the Conditional Use Permit for the ISM West Mosque building project, sited at 16650 and 16730 Pheasant Drive, until the following concerns have been satisfactorily answered to the citizens of Brookfield. 1. Traffic Alleviation: The City admitted that this project will not alleviate the traffic impact it causes, not even after re-sizing the project from 350-400 prayer spaces to 114. The City Engineer, Mr. Chase, stated on May 7, 2012: (traffic) "is a reasonable outcome but it is not 100% consistent with the stated technical specifications of our policy". If the traffic mitigation anticipated results are not consistent with the City’s technical specifications, how can the city legally approve this permit? 2.
