   Comments: it's the alert tone, it's supposed to alert me everytime a message is received, but it's so discreet!!! i'm really like my T68i even if newer models frm NOKIA Motorola siemens Philips and samsung are on sale now, but it's alert tone and expensive communicam are it's main drawback.

    Comments: Excellent phone but this alert/ringer volume is my one big annoyance. Maximum volume level 6 is not loud enough when I'm out-and-about. To hear the ringer/alert is rather a major feature of a mobile phone!. Sony Ericsson, is there something you can do to easy this pain

    Comments: i bought this phone as an upgrade to my nokia 3360.. i lost so much business due to not hearing the message alert tone.. if SE doesn't increase the alert tone through firmware within the year, then i'll switched back to nokia. i had a feeling i should stayed have with nokia.

    Comments: So far i have found the T68i great! But the tone and Ring volume is crap. I have phoned Ericsson twice and all they will tell me is that is how the phone was made, you cannot make it louder or alter the volume. This do'es not help the people who has bought the phone in the first place and has a year contract on it.I never hear the messages come in and i have it on vibrate as well. Something needs to be done!If you can't hear it then it is no good!!!
