T-Mobile has recently abolished it's contract policy. This may have seemed like a good idea at first, but, instead of making having a good, modern, and up to date cellular phone more affordable, it made it even more expensive. This is outrageous. The average American citizen makes $50,502. How are one of the costumers supposed to afford an upgrade that costs some $500? Well, the up front cost is not five hundred dollars. You pay maybe a $150 down payment, and then you pay the rest of the phones price off by the company racking up your bills significantly. How is the average citizen supposed to handle such an increase in an already high cellphone bill? The contract system was much cheaper for consumers to upgrade their phones. After all, we didn't have to pay the entire full price of a phone. We already finance lots of things like houses, and cars to name a few. Why on earth should we have to finance a phone too!? This is outrageous! We thought that T-Mobile would understand being one of the smaller cellular service providers that phone bills can be very expensive. Please consider revoking this new policy that you have. Please return to your contracts. We will even settle for maybe a three year contract. But the new system is far too expensive for an ordinary citizen. If anyone agrees, please sign my petition.
