I believe that we should switch desalination to nuclear energy because it will save money and lots of energy. My opinion is true because in 2025 ⅔ of our groundwater (which is part of our 1% of clean water) will be dried up and we will need desalination to kick in and also 91% of the world’s water is salt water. If you sign this petition we could save lives and we could share more water because that will add to the one percent of drinkable water.

One of the biggest desalination plants in the world in San Diego CA. A couple of steps that the plant does to desalinate the water are that they have a bucket of freshwater and saltwater and a barrier that let molecules of saltwater go through the barrier leaving the salt behind and then the water goes through a multi media filter then the canaje filter and the pumps pump the water up to 1,000 PSI it might seem like a lot of steps but it’s really easy.

Did you know that it costs millions of dollars and lots of energy to run desalination?(desalination is taking salt out of salt water but not purifying it.) I believe that we should switch desalination to nuclear energy, because it will save money and lots of energy. And that's why we should switch desalination nuclear. That is why you should sign this petition, and thank you for reading!
