Claudia Vaglica | I am disappointed that the board has chosen to deny this proposal. I think a heated pool, at no cost the the community, is a wonderful opportunity which should be embraced. I do not understand why the board would deny this proposal. I believe the board should disclose the results of the community survey and should be open in discussions about the reason for the denial. The board should have an open-records policy for neighborhood issues.

Kevin Phillips | We at least want a fair hearing on this matter. I've been associated with the Steiner Stars swim team and seen it's positive effect in the neighborhood. This is a positive outlet for the youthful energy of our kids. I believe stonger character would be instilled in our youth vs. shooting out windshields with BB guns and vandalizing our property. Please don't dismiss this proposal without long, deep thought. Thanks - Kevin
Amanda Marks | I support this petition. Could the SRMA Board please explain what factors or issues led to the "no" answer so that the swim club could evaluate those specific issues that held up in the contract negotiations. Thank you.

Cornelia Kamp | As a resident with children on the swim team and as an athlete who would benefit from a heated pool during the winter months, the proposal is a win-win for the community at no additional cost to the community. There are two other pools still available and presently very few people use any of the three available pools during the winter months so the possible negative impact (limited use of Bella Mar during the winter months) to the community is nominal if at all. At a minimum a full disclosure of the reason for the original NO vote seems only fair given the good faith year long negotiations that have taken place.
Debbie Donohue | A heated pool is a win-win for the entire comunity of Steiner Ranch. It allows use of a facility that currently is unusable during cold weather months.

Marcia Thompson | Why would they decline an offer.. I need to know more. my son has swim here in Steiner for the past three years..
Ken Peacock | I think the heated pool can only be a plus. Giving the kids an extra outlet for excercise and off season training. As well as an option for those of us who would like to pool train in the winter .Why let a beautiful facility sit dormant when it could be put to such good use. Thanks, Ken Peacock.

Cindy and Rich Bye | Please reconsider. The community will benefit enormously! Kay Gerken is a fantastic coach and we are so blessed to have her as part of our community.
Robert Chestney | The handling of this vote by the Steiner Ranch HOA has been shameful. I firmly believe the misleading survey conducted of the neighborhood residents by the HOA resulted in widespread misconceptions about the arrangement and led to a totally misplaced sentiment against the vote.

Nancy Mcdonald | I see no logic in the board's decision. This area has been desperate for a year-round swim club for some time. Furthermore, we have an opportunity to heat one of our pools at no cost to the residents. The board must respect the residents of this community and reevaluate this decision.

Anonymous | This program and the inclusion of a heated pool will increase property values, drive additional residents to the community, keep neighborhood revenue in the neighborhood instead of outside the community to other communities, help neighborhood children participate in an activity that keeps them out of trouble, teach our children discipline, focus and pride. All at no cost to the SRMA. What's not to approve. Sounds like there was a political agenda in the denial and as a dues paying member of this community I find this appalling.
Ruben Velasquez | Please accept the proposal!!! This is a 100% benefit to our community. We are currently sending our kids to other clubs and we would rather use our facilities and our community to develop our children. This is an opportunity to create a positive environment for our children. Is the Board agaist the well being of our Children?
Anonymous | If we have the pool, why shouldn't we use it?
Larenia Schuller | "I am in complete support to this petition. I would like the SRMA Board to please explain what factors or issues led to the ""no"" answer so that the swim club could evaluate those specific issues that held up in the contract negotiations. This is a win win for our entire community. We would be very blessed to have Kay Gerken be our childrens swim coach. She is a wonderful person inside and out and has so much wonderful swim experience and coaching experience. People move to Steiner Ranch to raise there children because of the great community that it is. Not passing this swim club and not letting us know why puts a very negative outlook to this community . Please reconsider why you voted no !!!!

Christine Landry | The heated pool is an excellent addition to the many wonderful facilities Steiner Ranch already has to offer. Having a year around swim team in the neighborhood is a wonderful opportunity for the kids and is a convenient alternative to activities which require hours of driving by our residents. Coach Kaye is awesome and her swim team here would be just another great reason to live in Steiner Ranch.
Robin Garbutt | I think this would benefit our community and should be approved.
Mona Flynn | This is a great opportunity for Steiner residents and I am sure any concerns the SRMA has could be addresses and put to rest.
