Sign our petition to help save South Wales from being littered with wind farms!
The Welsh Assembly are pinpointing the communities of the South Wales valleys as easy targets for the erection of these monstrosities and we\'re not taking it laying down.
Please sign our petition if you agree with us that wind farms are NOT the saviour against global warming that most polititions hail them to be. If you need more info before signing then please visit our site for more info:
Also, you too can help us fight against global warming in your own ways. To help ensure South Wales is not carpeted with monster turbines by pledging to do one of the following:
A) replace one, two, three or more conventional 150 watt bulbs with low energy bulbs
B) not use my tv standby button
C) turn down the heating in my home/workplace by 1%
If over 200,000 S Wales people do this we will have done our bit for saving the planet and will not need to be blighted with 400 foot high noisy monster turbines.
Please sign our petition, visit our site, and enjy the countryside before its too late!
We are a smal but growing group who are against the installation of wind turbines across south Wales. We are of the opinion that other forms of renewable energy would be better used as wind farms are not as reliable due to the inability to guarantee wind at any time therefore a back-up has to be ready and on at all times. these back-ups are usually conventional sources of power such as coal and gas.
