Name: Gina Morton on Apr 20, 2009Comments: As a ride in this part of the I am very conscious of the speed of vehicles using this section of the road. I would welcome any improvements or changes that can be made to protect not only the animals that make the forest what it is, but also for the safety of the drivers.Flag

Name: Julia Paton on Apr 21, 2009Comments: We clearly need the 40mph enforced throughout the forest. The sudden increase in accidents from 14/4/09 implies tourists also need to have their awareness improved - even though recently they have been assessed as safer than the locals.Flag

Name: June Cooper on Apr 26, 2009Comments: I totally support this campaign and would like the speed limit to be reduced all across the New Forest to at least 30 mph, but 20 mph would better. 40 mph is too fast, it does not give the animals a chance. I love living in this area, but cringe when cars overtake us and there are animals about, it is madness and needs something done about it. Thank you.Flag

Name: Roy Fielding on Apr 26, 2009Comments: Every morning we walk our dogs at Wooten Bridge Inclosure, many cars overtake us at the very dangerous point near the bridge, some are doing nearer to 60mph, we have tried to slow them down but get rude signs. Some of the Forest Roads could do with with bumps as nobody is obeying the 40mph at that time in the morning.Flag

Name: Maureen Kavanagh on Apr 26, 2009Comments: The Forest Roads are used as rat runs to A31 & A35 especially mornings & evenings & many drivers are ignoring the speed limit. Either bumps or traffic calming & heavy fines. Please no fencing.Flag
