Hello I would like to address a very serious matter that concerns all of us , there is a growing epidemic that is sadly putting all of us in danger and that is guardianship, guardianship/elder abuse is a silent crime that is being illegally done by those who think that they can, just because they think that they have the right to. If you read the many horror stories concerning guardianship abuse/elder abuse you will see that there needs to be a swift change right now, because instead of helping the ppl what is being done is actually killing them in all areas of their life,and rather then having that individual's family and those whom they trust help asist them the courts are appointing total strangers who do not know that individual at all and thus stripping them of their civil rights. and this is why i've chosen to make this pitition today because I care about people and we are all born free and equal, and we are all being treated more like cattle then a human being with the same feelings . and each of us has a choice, we can either sit by and say nothing about this grave injustice that's being done to us, or we can at least speak up and say no more, .so I'm hoping that you will stand with me and sign this petition to abolish the guardianship act, because we have the right to take care of our own family members that can no longer take care of themselves , because the abuse has got to stop. please. thank you.
