I support the efforts to transform Rhode Island into the nation’s first Sustainable state. This includes:

*Land & Water Conservation
*Energy Conservation & Conversion to Renewable Energy Sources
*Use of Mass Transit and Other Alternative Transportation
*Ecological Building
*Local and Sustainable Agriculture
*Prevention Oriented Healthcare
*Economic Development Based on Closed Loop, Cradle to Cradle Philosophy
*Movement Towards Sustainable Schools & Places of Worship
*Conversion of RI Cities and Towns to Eco-Municipalities
*Creation of Model Sustainable Communities as National Models
*Integration of Sustainability Principles and Practices into the Culture of Our State.

In signing this, I am sending a clear message to leaders in government that we need to act now. I support investment in the infrastructure to support these and other efforts, and I will do my part and make corresponding life choices that support these efforts too.
