We must believe that change will come. And it will come through each of us. We must believe that we can make a change and that our efforts are not worthless or in vain. I confess, we often feel like that proverbial ‘cog’ in the machine, not making much progress. But we are. And we can have a voice if we are willing to let it be heard.

Do you dream of a greener, more sustainable future for the City of Windsor? Let your Mayor and your City of Windsor councillor know. If you don’t, they’ll claim ignorance. I want the leadership of the City of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, to pursue becoming a Sustainable City, with an aggressive ecologically sound and environmentally friendly City Plan. I want grass roots leaders to be involved. I want a CHANGE in how this city is run. If this city is to have a future, we must act now to change

2. Offer up space in the city fr Community Gardens.
3. Adopt a Food Charter for the City Of Windsor.
4. Commit to a Sustainable City, LEED Buildings, Green Buildings Canada, Green Globes, etc.
5. Commit to Cradle-to-Cradle industry.
6. Pursue Alternative Energy use for all City buildings and residents.
7. Invest in a sustainable transit system.
8. Start now hiring only sustainable city minded staff and consultants, and engage with the citizens who want major change in the direction of our City of Windsor.
