675 suze parkerAssociate tutors are a valuable asset to universities, they do not deserve pay cuts as not only are they still studying themselves but they also work extremely hard to ensure students are looked after and give a lot of their valuable time to help us

692 Justinelvey@hotmail.comI think a pay cur is totally unfair - the AT's do just as much teaching work as the lectureres in my opinion, be it delivering lectures or taking seminars.

700 j swayneby structuring th pay in this new way, leaves certain tasks open to being paid less attention i.e. marking of papers. tutors and associate tutors must be paid for all the work that they do - ethically they may continue toi do a thorough job, but who is to blame them if they ont - and ultimately is it not the university who will be investigated if marking is not to set standards?
