Surviving Mexico is an online petition towards ending the drug war on Mexico and on our border line. The violence between cartels and authorities have cause over 60,000 deaths in 6 years in which many innocent lives have been taking from families including little ones. Our petition would send a message to our congressman, senators and our politics in Washington D.C. in helping to end a war in our own backyard. This effects us as many drugs and weapons are being brought in from Mexico to commit crimes in U.S. soil. As a Hispanic, I strongly believe in Unity and being a voice to those who are not being heard, we have the tools and the power to make a statement and be heard. This petition would be send to the offices of massachusetts senators Scott Brown (R) and John Kerry (D) and to many other lawmakers on Washington D.C. in order to prevent the disaster happening in Mexico. Signing the petition would make a difference in every way, it could be the difference from saving a young life to leaving someone be scared of tomorrow and not knowing if they will leave. Help us make a difference and be heard, thank you for your time and cooperation.

Dear Senators,
As you may know, the drug war in Mexico has cause a lot of violence to erupt and death tolls to raise daily. Many of those lives have been innocent bystanders and even children's who are innocent of the violence. Many drugs and weapons are also being smuggled and use in the United States causing our own youth to also erupt in the violence. Many international laws are being bent along this as human smuggling and children sex slave for cartels. We ask that you and fellow member in Capitol Hill take immediate action against this situation before things hop over border lines and begin in our own soil. Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and others state are neighbors of Mexico and they might turn the risk of the violence and illegal activities. We do not want another incident like the one in which our fellow citizen and federal agent Jaime Zapata was gunned down and killed. As student and citizen we ask that changes may be done and action taken. Thank you for your time and for listening to our pledge, we hope we can hear from you soon.

                                                                                                     Sincerely,
                                                                              United States of America Residents
