Surface is a show on NBC that is filmed in Wilmington. If the show continues, it could help save hundreds of jobs in the coastal North Carolina area, and entertain people all across the United States! Currently NBC is thinking about continuing Surface for the 2006-2007 Season, but no decision has been made! By signignt his petition, you agree that Surface should continue for a 2nd Season! \"So the best we can say for now is that the 15th episode on February 6 is indeed the Season 1 finale, and the network considers the show to be in contention for renewal for the 2006-07 schedule.\" \"Well, here\'s the scoop from NBC: Despite fears that \"Surface\'s\" February 6 installment is being billed as the \"finale,\" the show remains under consideration for the 2006-07 season. That being said, the season finale \"will provide a sort of semi-closure.\"\" Those quotes are from: http://www.youngstarnews.com/ysn/tvpages/fathom.htm \"Ever wonder what life would be like if a new form of sea life began to appear in locales all over the Earth Naval officers in the South Antarctic Sea, a family in San Diego, the Oceanographic Institute in Monterey, and fishermen in the Gulf of Mexico are about to find out. The organisms are beautiful, but are these innocent creatures more than what they seem Embark on this unfathomable journey to discover what might be lurking just below the surface. Cast: Lake Bell, Jay Ferguson, Rade Sherbedgia, Carter Jenkins, Leighton Meester.\"
This was a great show. I found it on nextix and could not stop watching. Its was so go I was up to atound 4:00 am watching the frist 11 shows.
The cliff hanger ending was not the way to end.
Somebody needs to reconsider bringing it back as a weekly series. It can replace some of the new crap that is showing on my local tv channels
Got into the show because of my kids. Bummed there was only one season. Would like to see what happens next.
Great show. Finish it.
Would love to see 2nd season... or a movie...great plot...sexy protagonist...really a shame. In general...network tv just doesn't let shows mature. If a cable or internet channel got the rights to this it would take off. This is another example of why network tv is dying.
