We, the citizens of the surfing world, petition the gaming industry, surf industry...any industry to consider development of a new, graphically pleasing, realistic surfing video game. On August 21, 2009 it will have been 7 [seven] years since the release of Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer. On November 14, 2009 it will have been 8 [eight] years since the release of Transworld Surf (for the Xbox). Surely there must be a market for a surf video game, especially after such an extended absence of a video game. Estimated at about 20,000,000 surfers world-wide, they keep making bowling and bass fishing video games, I'm sure there is room for another surf video game. I would even be willing to buy a next gen console just for a surf game (still have the PS2). Please sign this petition if you feel it's time for a new surfing video game.
