Name: Anonymous on Oct 14, 2009Comments: Whilst I completely understand the need for additional Welsh medium education places, it should not be at the detriment of the two english medium schools. I believe there is an empty school in nearby Llandaff North, surely that could be used to sort out some of the problems Welsh medium schools have. Whitchurch is a built up area without the need for more homes, If we lose some part of whitchurch high and the field at eglwys newydd, it will effect my children and many otheres as our local football clubs, rugby and hockey teams all use these. Please reconsider your choices and look to other solutions regardng Welsh medium education.Flag

Name: Judy Stephens on Oct 14, 2009Comments: Stop sacrificing well performing english-medium schools to promote welsh-medium education. If you want more welsh schools then build them and leave the english-medium schools alone. Why should my child be discriminated against because I have chosen to have her educated in an english school, which incidentally teaches a lot of welsh in any case. This is just linguistic snobbery and an inverted form of racism and should be stopped nowFlag

Name: Anonymous on Oct 14, 2009Comments: This is absolutely ridiculous and the plans are hideously short sighted. Once the land has gone, it can never be regained, this desicion would be to the detriment of the education and well being of the children of Whitchurch.Flag
