| 868 | Anthony Sortino | I immigrated to Canada along with my family from Sicily , back in 196, we first moved to a humble home on Front Street, London Ontario, at the end of the road lived an Indian family wich I became along with my family ,very good friends, they where always there if my dad or mom needed any help, like I recall when they helped us build our fence around the back yard, since the old one was useless, along with respect and mutual admiration, I could not help but see how hard it was for them to get a job (Father and son ) and I think that is what brought Mr Antone to drinking like he used to do. I hold only respect and gratitude for my native brothers . And only SHAME for my government, be it left or right, for the obvious lack of interest that they show for our native brothers ! Keep the struggle moving! Even though i am now living in Italy my thoughts are with you ! Long live the grat Indian nation of Canada !!! |
