On Wednesday, April 12th, Comedy Central aired an episode of South Park entitled \"Cartoon Wars: Part 2.\" This episode was meant to attack Islamic extremists and their sensitivity to any comic reference to their prophet Mohamed, as well as the chicken out policy of network executives when it comes to airing something depicting Mohamed (in this episode it was FOX network censoring The Family Guy). Well, obviously Comedy Central deemed showing Mohamed to risky in this episode of South Park, as when the prophet was supposed to appear, the screen went black and had a title card saying Comedy Central has refused to broadcast an image of Mohammed on their network. This was real, no joking.
Comedy Central has many shows making fun of every religious/political group, minority, majority, you name it. But they make an exception for Mohamed. Are they worried about a jihad being put on their network
The great thing about America is the right to freedom of speech and that we are not intimidated by terrorists
.seems our networks are the exception when it comes to that.
This petition asks that Comedy Central re-air the episode in question, uncut.
