We can only assume that her attack dog detractors believe all of the land between the river and sea to be Israel - and that to believe in a two states, a position Thomas' statement supports, is to be anti-Semitic. The dear woman had nothing to apologize for, but the thugs that continue to harass her certainly do.

    Comments: Thank you for the opportunity to show my increasing displeasure with Israel. I grew up Jewish in NYC and believed all the lies told me by my government and religious leaders. After sixteen years of living in an Arab country and subsequently coming back here, I have fully understood: the role of Israeli provocations in the ongoing wars; the fascist behavior of the Israeli government in ignoring fundamental human rights; the way the government and right wing press here present one-sided views of the situation; the illegallity of the land grabs and settlement policies; the basic wrong of taking the land of the rightful landowners for a "Jewish" state on the supposition that "God" gave the land to the Jewish people. The history of the Israelites is one of invasion, land grabs and annihilation of peoples because "God" said they should. I think Israel has lost all right to a homeland based on the Holocaust (which the Arabs had NOTHING to do with). If the US thinks Israelis should have a homeland, give them Florida.
