Name: Hassan C. on Jun 11, 2010Comments: I agree with her comments even if its offensive to Israeli. Zionists had been living in Europe for the last 1,000 years....not in Palestine. Palestinians have been living in Palestine for the last 1,000 years. Israelis need to go back to Europe where they are from...the jews that were in Palestine prior to WWII are free to stay as they were before Hitler.Flag

Name: Marilyn And Bill Melville on Jun 11, 2010Comments: Instead of focusing on Helen Thomas who spoke the truth, Israel should get out of Palestine, let's get to the heart of the matter. No matter what Helen or anyone else says, if it is critical of Israeli policy, it has to be portrayed as anti-semitic. The fact that her further comments were taken out of context and never fully revealed just proves that point. But. as Aipac surely knows, a good offense is the best defense. I'd put my trust in Helen anyday, she's one sharp lady.Flag

Name: Philip B Wood on Jun 11, 2010Comments: I admire the old girl, too bad our Political leaders don't have her backbone and moral convictions. The Star of David has morphed into a Swastika. The insanity is that the root cause of all of this is as usual RELIGION and the "Chosen" people have managed to convince America that GOD is on Israel’s side and therefore anything they do is Holy. So America contributes WMDs and Millions of our tax dollars to support a regime that is the primary reason for the situation in the Middle east. They apparently won't be satisfied until they manage to start WWIII. My family is part Jewish and I have never been anti-Semitic but Israel has adopted the right wing tactic of accusing anyone who disagrees with it's policies as being essentially Nazis while they use Nazi tactics against the Palestinians. The world sits on its hands and allows this to happen just as the German populace sat by and watched Hitler instigate Genocide. I have no doubt that just as the Bush/Cheney Regime labeled anyone who attempted to block it's efforts to dismantle the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights unpatriotic, so shall the Israel Fanatics label those such as myself a Jew hater. I consider myself fortunate not to be a resident if their country as I am certain they would have no more compulsion in murdering me than they did in killing the activists attempting to give aid to the Palestinians incarcerated in their GAZA concentration camp. Rachel Cory's Death at the hands of an Israeli Soldier who crushed her with his American Bulldozer obviously had no effect on Israel or America. Our President's cow towing to the Israeli lobby is sickening!Flag

Name: Bonnie Shinneman on Jun 11, 2010Comments: Helen Thomas was right -- and has the privilege of giving her opinions in a country where free speech is a privilege. Blocking anti-Israeli information has led to a racist, war-led, corrupt, anti-humane, Israel. Human rights is soooo important in this world -- but we have not insisted on human rights in Israeli as they persecute the Palestinians. Bonnie Jones ShinnemanFlag

Rights we The People can not do without, and the truth must be able to be spoken! Even when it is a truth some don't like, or are able to cope with, or like to twist around with... lie about! Name: Omar on Jun 11, 2010Comments: she was taken down for doing her job, we asked her (and all reporters ) to expose the truth and not go along with the "mainstream", and when she runs afoul of a strongly backed oppressive regime, she is ostracized for it and worse, she is hung out to dry. people like Ari should be ashamed. For him to be the descendant of a people that was so badly treated, and then not recognize the same treatment being imparted on the Palestinians is the true crime... Helen, hold your head up high, you are GREAT!Flag

She battled in a career dominated by men in order to get where she is and she has always been the one to ask the right questions of the White House. Her words on Israel spoke for billions around the world. Helen, your heart and mind are pure and your voice only echoed the truth. You're an inspiriation.Flag
