Your signature also states that you refuse to accept legislation, proclamations or acts that would seek to give oversight to any outside group or take away FWC's constitutional authority to manage and regulate our natural resources, game and recreational activities.

Abstract: As the environment of Florida becomes more fractured and our resources are stressed to their limits, it is important to remeber that only truly science based management practices and regulations can maintain our wildlife and natural spaces for future generations to come. With the increasing influence from special interests and political agents attempting to snatch control of our natural resources in Florida and offer them to the highest bidder, now more than ever we as Floridians need to support our wildlife agency and send a clear message to Tallahassee that our resources and our traditions are not for sale.

By signing this petition, you send a clear message to Gov. Rick Scott and our Florida Legislature that you support the continued management of our natural resources and outdoor recreation to the Florida Wildlife Conservation Commission. You tell our governor and law makers that only the FWC and their staff have the constitutional authority and the expertise to do the job we entrust them to do without the influence of politics or special interests. You tell FWC and Tallahassee that you're proud of the job they are doing and you want them to keep on doing it.

By signing this petition, you state that you support the management plans, hunting and fishing regulations, protection of endangered species, special hunt and fish programs like snook seasons, early snapper closures, lionfish erradication, bear hunting and special seasons for and well regulated control that FWC maintains on our natural resources. That you trust their ability to oversee these resources and have faith in their research. That you believe they are best suited to maintain the integrity of our natural state and support their management and implementation of fishing and hunting programs and continue the biodiversity that only Florida can offer.

Your signature sends the message that you won't let special interests or political agents attempt to usurp the constitutionally established authority of the FWC, and that you support continuing to trust the staff and scientists to act in the best interest of the wildlife and the residents of Florida.
