He is a very compassionate and caring doctor. He takes time to listen and explain procedures to you. He is a wonderful doctor and we don't want loose him.Flag

Name: Janice Howell on May 5, 2011Comments: I first met Dr. Ghosh when he was treating my brother for colon cancer about 12 years ago. He is currently treating my mother after breast cancer and he saw my daughter for colon cancer. He is a wonderful Dr. who genuinely cares about his patients. I was very impressed with him and his knowledge about treatments, etc and respected him for allowing his patients the freedom to choose which method was best for THEM! His kindness and support have made a huge difference in my family's lives. I will be forever grateful!Flag

Name: Marilyn Stauffer on May 5, 2011Comments: There are people in the community that want large medical complex, which is fine but they need to remember that its not the building that makes the practice, its the physicians. Cancer patients have such a bond with their oncologist and its sad that no one thought about what is best for the patients. I really thought the medical complex was to benefit the patients and the communiity then you take away a physician that is so loved by so many. Are they really looking at doing what is the best for the patients for what they feel is best for the wallet.Flag

Dr Ghosh went to work fast and agressively and now she is ten years out. Two of my other sisters cancer as well. I went to an appointment with one of my sisters and asked him about me. He sat down and told me my options. Now that is caring. He did not tell me to get a paying appointment or you are not my patient. He is doing wonders for my sisters attitude and givivg her hope. Now what!!! We love you Dr Ghosh.Flag

We still remember the empathy and sincere concern we received from Dr. Ghosh and his staff at a very trying time. They are a wonderful asset in our community and we hope they will all stay (together). Best Wishes!Flag

Name: Sharon J. Barrett on May 5, 2011Comments: Dr. Ghosh is not only a wonderful, capable physician, he is a kind, compassionate human being who always goes the extra mile to encourage and comfort his patients, not just "treat" them. Our family is so grateful to him for the way he cared for us. I could share stories of many times he took care of my husband outside of office hours in order to relieve his suffering. "The best asset for oncology and patient advocacy" is absolutely the truth. Let's pray that he can find a way to stay in Cedar Rapids.Flag

We need you in CR, so I trust you will stay and show that it pays to support the best interest of the patients. I have never had a Dr. that I admired more. Keep looking up. Name: Lora Lea Edwards on May 5, 2011Comments: Dr. Ghosh puts his patients first by taking an wholistic apporoach to their care. He raises the bar for how to address the overall health of cancer patients and insists on staying current on the latest research. His concern for his patients is not reserved for a brief time in the examining room but makes him easily accessible by phone and has even made house calls on a very frail patient. Here too he raises the bar in patient care by his accessiblity and follow-up. I hope other doctors consider him a mentor and inspitation and not a threat.Flag
