Comments: Dr. Ghosh treated my sister for Colon-Rectal cancer. With his help she is a survivor. Dr. Ghosh was wonderful and treated my sister as a person who had cancer, not as cancer who had a person. Her situation was compounded by the flood, she lost her home in the flood. Without Dr. Ghosh's support medically and physically I don't know if the outcome would have been as good.

Comments: He treated my elderly mother who had breast cancer. He was kind and helped calm her. She is cancer free now at 90 years old and has been receiving assistance for her many prescription drugs through his foundation. This has been such a blessing as she is on a fixed income. Thank you Dr. Ghosh!

Comments: Dr. Ghosh has been my husband's Doctor since May 1994. He calls to check up on my husband. regularly. Plus, he visits him during any hospital stays early mornings and as late as midnight just to make sure he is doing okay. Nothing is more important to Dr. Ghosh than his patients and family. Dr. Ghosh has been there for our church family and members of the Cedar Rapids communiy especially when we lost our church during the flood of 2008. The medical profession would not be the same if Dr. Ghosh is not a part of it.

Comments: Dr. Ghosh has saved my life. I was diagnosed with CML in 1994. Since then, Dr. Ghosh has performed research to ensure that I had access to the most recent and best treatment for my illness. Without Dr. Ghosh, I do not believe I would be alive today.

Comments: I was one of Dr. Ghosh's first patients. I had breast cancer in 1991 and was referred to him by my family doctor. He is one of tthe most caring, compassionate doctors I have ever had and have referred him to many people here in my community. I have often told him that I could be on his "payroll" for all the people I have sent to him!! I sincerely hope that he will open his own practice and stay in Cedar Rapids as I still and always will consider him as "my doctor"!!!

Comments: Dr. Ghosh is truly an asset to the community. He is my mom's doctor, and our family owes him so much, yet he asks for nothing in return. He is absolutely an amazing man that has so much to offer not only for his patients, but their families and all concerned. PCI made a terrible mistake, even though they will not recant any of it. I do hope that Dr. Ghosh and his family will stay in this area, because to lose them would be a tragic event.

Comments: Not only do I believe Dr. Ghosh is one of the best oncologists you will find - regardless of your location; he is also one of the most honest and caring individuals you will meet. I believe my husband is alive today because of the care he received from Dr. Ghosh. We need more "Dr. Ghosh's"...not more "groups". Dr. Ghosh, please stay in the Cedar Rapids area!

Comments: My grandmother was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in March of 2010. She is a patient of Dr. Ghosh's and was just told a month ago that she has a few months to live. Dr. Ghosh has done everything in his power to help my grandmother and to keep her as confortable as possible over the past year. My whole family is VERY pleased with the help and support given to us and do not think that letting him go is a good idea. What other doctors are out there that have taken money out of their own pocket to help others and would bend over backwards to help someone out that is needs it. We all disagree with the decision and think that it needs to be reconsidered!!!

Comments: Although I am not one of Dr. Ghosh's patients, my sister has been for several years. Dr. Ghosh isn't only a great doctor, humanitarian, he is a wonderful person, who truly cares about others and is constantly doing his best to help others. He has been treated very badly by those who only care about the almighty dollar. Shame on them!!!
