Support the DREAM ACT

We, the undersigned, support the federal DREAM Act, a bipartisan legislation (introduced in spring of 2009) which supports young students that were brought into the United States when they were children and whose parents neglected to get their citizenship when they received theirs. It would permit these students conditional legal status and eventual citizenship granted that they meet all the following requirements: -have lived here continuously for five years -were brought the U.S. before they turned 16 -are below the age of 30 -have graduated from a U.S. high school or obtained a GED -have good moral character with no criminal record -attend college or enlist in the military Passing this Act would allow them to have a future after high school by creating an opportunity for these young adults to succeed and give back to our economy. We ask your support of the United States DREAM Act.
