Comments: These cuts affect the poorest and most marginalised people in the borough, those who are unemployed and the elderly, and families with no access to the internet at home. They dispossess residents of the opportunity to engage socially, to access government and Camden websites, and to seek work. And given that Camden insists all council housing applications and transfers are done online it removes the opportunity for poorly housed people to have local access to online facilities to apply for adequate housing. The council should be ashamed of this proposal for cuts.

Comments: i dont think is a good ideal to cut funds.because the center are very good and people get the opportunity to do something which the didn't get to do early days of the life.which is excellent.

Comments: The government don't realise how UK Online centres have improved the quality of life (in many ways) for many people of various ages and backgrounds. I teach at 5 of the centres and it's a pleasure to see learners tell me that what they have learned has helped them get a better job; help their child at school; or even improve their confidence to go to college or university... the benefits are endless... Stop the cuts!

Comments: The SHELL centre in South Hampstead is a wonderful place that adds an amazing amount to the local community. It enriches the lives of the residents and widens their skills for both work and leisure. It more than repays its funding and would be a massive loss to the community.

Comments: Our community centre uk on line is very important for the community particularly the elderly who need a place where they can practice and learn about computers. Making cuts is a false economy

THE PROPOSAL TO WORK WITH THE MOST VULNERABLE ONLY IS TOTALLY AGAINST PLAYWORK ETHOS AND PLAYWORK PRINCIPLES - HAVING AN INCLUSIVE APPROACH TO WORKING WITH ALL CHILDREN ENSURE THOSE WITH CHALLENGING BEHAVIOUR OR LEARNING DIFFICULTIES HAVE PEER ROLE MODELS ETC - ALSO STIGMATISES CHILDREN - "YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE THAT GOES TO THAT SCHEME".

Comments: Please don't cut these most vital of services. The Uk Online service provides the Digital inclusion as a must for those people who have not had the chance to use technology, which they need to do more and more in their every day lives.
