Support Bruce Benson To Be The Next President Of the University of Colorado

The petition

There has been a significant movement on CU campuses to boycott Bruce Benson from being selected as president of the University of Colorado. A number of students and groups are charging that Benson is not qualified, based solely on assertions not related to his credentials to lead CU - although he has an extraordinary track-record for his leadership abilities, fundraising efforts, and commitment to education. We are hoping to garner support for Benson based on his qualifications and not his party affiliation.



Students and parents charge that the costs associated with higher education are rising and institutions like the University of Colorado are underfunded, adversely impacting the quality of education students receive. Mr. Benson is the sole candidate to not only continue the legacy of accountability established by Hank Brown, but also candidate with a vision and passion for education to make the University of Colorado the best it can be.
