Agora Crisis Center at the University of NM is the oldest campus-based crisis line in the country. Since 1970, volunteers at Agora have been providing free, compassionate, confidential help to anyone in need of emotional support. We train over 150 volunteers per year and answer nearly 10,000 calls from people on campus and throughout the state of New Mexico. Additionally, Agora provides community education on topics such as suicide awareness and prevention to schools, churches, community organizations and other state Universities and colleges. Agora's future is in jeopardy due to funding cuts at the University. Please show your support for Agora's continued funding at UNM by signing this petition today!
