Haiti is desperate for our support. Desperate to be understood. It was poor enough before the earthquake but so much the poorer now and I for one don't think politics should decide who lives and who dies. Of course, it is too often the case but this is a plea from my heart to yours, as a fellow human being, let's not stand by and watch and do nothing. We can give money yes, now charity is urgently needed but in addition, the country needs to be given support in gaining strong leaders and a strong population.
