| 51 | Evelyn Tan | How can the government in one breath advocate volunteerism and kindness and at the same time, cull community cats when there are more effective, more cost-efficient and most importantly, more humane alternatives? Singapore may be one of the richest countries in the world but really, we haven't progressed much at all. "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." Gandhi |

| 54 | Bee Leng | I am in support of reinstating the effective Stray Cat Rehabilitation Scheme as this method is not only compassionate but also proven to be cost effective than euthanasia.
So why does Singapore continue with a a more costly and yet less effective approach ? |
| 55 | Isaac Ho | Stop the senseless massacre!!! |

| 57 | marion ng | The question I would llike to ask the Ministry, 'What is the reason for not restalling the SCRS. What is holding the scheme back? Tell us, please in order for all the animal welfare organisations to try retify what could be the problem or problems. Culling has not helped and yet we keep doing it. Where is our humanity? What examples are we showing our children? Anything that don't work, DISPOSE including living beings. |

| 61 | Lynn Chiam | The TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) method has already proven successful in many other countries. It is the most local and cost-effective and compassionate means to manage the community cat population! |

| 64 | Veronica | Hope we can extend to dogs as well. As this is the best method to keep strays population at bay instead of euthanising them. |
| 65 | Pamela Arudas | I think that killing cats is not a solution. There are many volunteers who have put in hard work and their own resources to sterilise cats. We are working towards being a developed nation so we have to show a 'developed nation' attitude. Killing cats is cruel. Hoodwinging it as 'culling' does not make it right. |

| 68 | nori AG | I strongly support the SCRS/TNR scheme. There are ready animal organizations and passionate individuals who spent time and money to help regulate the scheme before and ever more so now. When we allow culling of strays, we are showing the world our negative approach and why in the world we want to do that? Are we so arrogant as a nation to allow such inhumane acts to carry on, on the pretext of controlling strays? So much education has gone into so many types of campaign to promote kindness to animals, so much has been done by the volunteers to raise donations and helping in events here and there, so much personal time and money has been put aside to champion the cause of saving these animals up to a point where strong volunteers compromises and sacrifices their own livelihood. When we sit back and see what we have accomplished in every aspects of our daily lives, may it be business or personal, it is certainly not the case when it comes to the way we treat our strays.
Regards

| 69 | Lim Su-Ching | A government in suppport of this method of reducing the number of strays is a thinking humane government. |

| 75 | Aliza Md Sharif | I used to be afraid of anything that's not human that moves or crawls. I am not an animal hater, but it's more due to ignorance. Since 7mths ago, when I was suddenly put in a situation where 5 precious lives were put in my hands, I am no longer the same person. They are now as much a part of my life as they are a part of me. |

| 85 | Anonymous | Cats or other animal beings have the right and not being culled or killed by other beings. If humans insist on their own action, then humans should be culled and killed by higher beings. Am i right. This world is not ours to do what we like. It will be return to the creator, God, one day. So dont play play. Retribution will be done and it will. |
| 86 | Anonymous | Pls appreciate the efforts of all those animal lovers out there who have put in so much time, effort, finances & love on keeping our feline friends' lives.

| 99 | Sulegha | The TNR programme is clearly the most effective and viable solution to controlling the stray cat population. Culling is inherently inhumane and obviously ineffective, it is indeed foolish of any Thinking individual or organization to stubbornly adhere to such a programme which is not only unpopular but also myopic. |
