| 1 | lina jupri-tan | Please STOP the killing!! |
| 2 | Tan Eng Siong | killing 13000 cats every year, year after year, is both wrong and stupid. AVA itself has found a better way: http://www.sva.org.sg/papers_full.asp?paperID=9 |
| 3 | Lynn J | Yes..with this reinstatement more cats & kittens will be saved and not KILLED. If not us the animal lovers who support this, no one else will be show this compassion. |
| 4 | Corbie Kiernan | Sterilisation and responsible management works to address stray cat situation - culling does not. Furthermore, it emphasises humane management and is targeted towards achieving long-term results. Please consider reinstating the Stray Cat Rehabilitation Scheme in favor of culling. |
| 5 | Jennifer Koltutsky | As a Canadian expat living in Singapore, I am very impressed by the volunteer efforts of fine organizations such as the SPCA, the CWA, and AVA taking pro-active steps to ensure the humane treatment of stray cats. This makes an encouraging statement about the general society values of Singapore. I believe a society can be judged by how well it treats its animals.
If this were to change as a result of poor-funding, apathy and general misunderstanding amongst the public, I would be very disappointed. |

| 17 | Anonymous | It's time our society "grow up" to have more compassion for our fellow inhabitants of this earth and not view culling as the ultimate solution to all problems. |
| 18 | Jen Kwong Hui | Give the rehabilitation scheme a chance. There is really nothing to lose. |

| 23 | Anonymous | The best method of controlling the strays' population is through sterilisation. It is more effective and cost-efficient to sterilise strays than to kill them. We would be most grateful that the Stray Cat Rehabilitation Scheme could be re-instated to help all cat lovers and the animal welfare organizations. Thank you very much. |
| 24 | ching wi | please bring back this scheme. nothing beats a solution that saves lives and costs less then culling.
we have a choice of how we want to live and what we leave behind for our next generation to inherit - let it be compassion and wisdom.
cats are not pests. they are so because we deem them so. we human beings do not have monopoly over this land. just as we share it with the lovely beings such as butterflies and sparrows, we share it with the stray cats too.
all we need to do is change our perspective.
all that the cats have is the depth of our compassion. |

To protect cats as much as we can so as to minimise uncessary culling of cats and to develope a friendly and caring society. "Treat others life as if your own life". |

| 39 | Tan Wei Kei | Since the culling of 13000 cats annually has not reduced the number of stray cats in Singapore, an alternative approach should be considered for the control of the stray cat population. The TNRM scheme which was successful should be reinstated for humane and effective population control. |

| 49 | Candy Poon | I'm a cat lover myself. It's painful to see perfectly fine and loving little furballs being put to slp just cos' of some complaints by pompous asses living in our HDB estates. |
| 50 | Mak Kim | I appeal on behalf of all my elderly cat lovers who despite their old age, went around caring and feeding the sterilized cats. Loving cats give them hope and health and happiness. At least they have something to look forward to on every new day. I hope the authority allow this group of aging community uphold their spirit in living with a purpose. |
