I support the work of the Lighthouse Project which provides vital community services.
I believe they deserve to be helped to find a permanent building where they can set down root & continue their successful work supporting people in the community rather than having to move from one building to another because of the development plans of owners.

I use the Lighthouse Project very often and i have had a massive amount of help and support on many issues, i am sure like myself there are many people who welcome the work the staff and volunteers do for them, they need to have a permanent place to stay that is very much local to Middleton town centre.
This provides an essential service to the community. Following a work placement I loved it that much I continue to volunteer. Dave the hat.
The Lighthouse Project, along with the volunteers, provide a very useful lifeline to anyone who needs advice and help with their job hunting. It also a useful point of contact for people who might become isolated due to unemployment. They can meet other people and make friends which helps to boost their self esteem and confidence.
This provides an essential service to support people with needs; to get back to work, to get up to date with modern methods of working, IT skills, to obtain help and guidance , to meet people with similar problems in a friendly / helpful atmosphere . GOOD COMMUNITY CARE FOR THOSE IN NEED!
It's about time Rochdale Council got involved in finding premises for this project as they are doing things the council should be doing anyway. This has been a very successful voluntary organisation for a number of years and they don't get any help from council as its always the same community groups who get awarded grants
It great to know they is a place to go for help and understanding

Please help these guys find a permanent building to lay down their roots and to enable them support their communities. I worked for the Lighthouse Project Blackheath and understand how much their community needs them...
