Under the previous labour government 5,300 jobs were lost and our state is struggling to keep pace with the rest of Australia. Currently Tasmania is the only state going backwards in Gross State Income per capita. We will work to repair the damage done by our former Labor Prime Ministers and put the people first in our plans to create a strong future that benefits all individuals. With the support of the Abbott government we intend to promote economic growth through the forestry sector and recognise that it's time to better understand the economic advantages of this locked up land.
