Due to a demand of messages regarding nights where the local LGBT community can feel safe and have a night out without grief. We don't want to exclude anyone so we add LGBTS Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans & Straight. No exclusions for any sexuality or gender.

For a while now the local LGBT community of Scunthorpe & surrounding have had no particular central night that they can feel at and enjoy being themselves and meet like minded friends like their selves.

An online Facebook group run in 2009 receives at least 1 add request a day from someone local wanting to join and various inbox messages and posts have been sent and received regarding the lack of options.

While some of the community feel safe and comfortable to be themselves out in town others do not therefore they stay in or they act a way they wont be noticed as being different.

So this petition is to see what the demand is for a new night in town where the Local LGBT community can meet, dance, drink and have fun and meet each other.

Sometimes being LGBT and only having straight friends it can become hard to mingle with other people of the same sexual orientation.

If you are interested and would attend or even like to help organise a new event for the LGBT community then please sign the petition without enough signatures a night will just not be viable to a venue nor to the time it takes to organise.

So please share if you support your local LGBT no matter what sexuality, no attitude, everyone friendly.

We will run the petition until we reach our goal.
