The undersigned believe that there exists a need for an additional volleyball team at the HS level. The reasons of this are set forth below. Currently there are 3 HS Volleyball teams: Varsity, JV A and JV B. This allows for approximately 45 students to play on the teams. As you are aware, there has been a significant increase in the number of students playing volleyball in Scarsdale at the HS, Modified and Club levels. For example, 64 girls played on the modified teams this year and there are currently 49 players on 4 teams within the Scarsdale Volleyball Club and many others playing for other club teams......
