I just heard back and the grant applications for the trail connections were approved which means we are actually going to have this continuous path finally. It feels honestly surreal after all the emails and waiting and wondering if it would pan out but clearly someone was listening to us. …

Support Larimer County, Loveland, and Fort Collins grant applications to develop regional trail connections between trail systems in Fort Collins and Loveland.

The Long View Corridor Trail and Colorado Front Range Trail will provide such connections, and be a great route for recreational users and commuters alike.

I just looked at the count and saw we hit five hundred signatures which is honestly kind of surreal since I started this thinking maybe a few neighbors would care. It is wild to imagine all those people actually wanting these trails connected too because sometimes I feel like I am just shouting into the void about bike paths and dirt trails.

Really interested in riding between The Fort and Loveland. Don't feel safe taking the road as drivers are often crazy. This would provide an excellent travel option for many different reasons.

Cars and bicycles are not compatible in the same transportation corridor. When hardly anyone rode bicycles--it may have been safe. Now with many bicyclists, the two wheeler is in danger of losing his/her life!! How would you like your 10 year-old riding in a bike lane with all the distracted driver? We really need the Loveland to Ft. Collins trail! Thanks planners!!

I only wish I could live long enough to see this project completed but it's a great legacy to leave my grandchildren.

I commute from Loveland to Fort Collins almost daily. I would live to have a safer trail to ride.

I am in full support of the two new North/South connections of the bike trail systems between Fort Collins and Loveland. I made quite a few trips this past summer driving my car carrying my bike on a bike rack to get to a trailhead in the Fort Collins area as I do not like riding on the roads due to safety concerns.

I live in Loveland and bike back and forth to Fort Collins. This would make it a much nicer ride and one that I would do more often.

This would be a great way to allow training cyclists access to a stretch of trail that is less frequented by walkers and allow them to ride at higher speeds more safely
