We, the members and congregants of Beth Tfiloh, of the school and Shul community. are creating this petition. We deserve to be heard by the Shul board and decision makers. As members of the BT community, Rabbi Lerner has had an extremely positive impact on all of our personal, religious and family lives. Our understanding is that there is consideration to remove Rabbi Lerner from his position at the Shul. We are against this and feel his continued involvement in the Shul is critical to maintaining the growth of the next generation of BT congregants. The community and sense of togetherness he has helped create have been welcome, important additions to life at BT. We are here to state our support for Rabbi Lerner and are directly against any decision to remove him.   This is too important to the lives of those in our community.
