Oval Space is an evolving multi-use arts and events space based in the heart of Bethnal Green in East London. The space was first conceived in the Autumn of 2011, and after extensive refurbishment work, first opened its doors to the public in April 2012. The space is used for everything from still and video location work and product launches through to live music and performance art. We run all our music and art programming in-house, including all major production elements, allowing us to maintain a high level of control over the quality and appeal of the activities in the space. 

We've had a great 2012 so far and recently succeeded in acquiring our late license, allowing us to expand and improve the quality of events.

Now we need your help to get the last official stamp to allow us to continue our exciting programme. We need your support in the last step to change the official use of the building to comply with the council's regulations. This planning permission would allow us to register the building as an official mixed-use art area.
