Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres) has rushed to judgment by describing what was obviously a horrible mistake in the fog of war - the bombing of the hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan - as a 'war crime'.
Apparently they are so delusional as to believe that Coalition forces - and in particular U.S. forces - would deliberately target a hospital for destruction.
I cancelled any further donations to MSF today.
By classifying what has happened as a 'war crime', MSF is equating the actions of our troops with the Malmedy Massacre and the holocaust of Auschwitz.
I have been a loyal donor to MSF with the intention of supporting doctors acting in dangerous areas - NOT to support anti-American and anti-Coalition political activism by MSF bureaucrats.
Please join me in withholding all further donations to MSF Doctors Without Borders until their 'war crime' claim against U.S. forces is retracted.

It appears the hospital was in violation of the Geneva conventions, Annex 1, Article 2:No persons residing, in whatever capacity, in a hospital zone shall perform any work, either within or without the zone, directly connected with military operations or the production of war material. Hospitals are supposed to be in neutral territory, with no combatants from either side ( other than wounded) on the premises. Seems that DWB made more than one mistake here.
This is a political move against the United States. All Americans are saddened by this horrible accident and pray for the victims and their families.
DWB is starting to get involved in politics and I am out. No more support from me.

If people are in a war zone, there is danger. Whether they are there for humanitarian reasons is irrelevant. The MSF volunteers knew there was risk and chose to be heroic. It is outrageous that they immediately label an act a war crime when they do not know the facts. That displays a certain arrogance which diminishes their professed altruism. A war zone is dangerous and they chose to be there.
