    Comments: The night markets on a Saturday has shown what this area really needs to make it succussful - casual dining brings back the locals and then others. I'm all for bringing this area back to life.

    Comments: I was there for 12 nights of the 18 nights it was open. It had to be the best venue on the West Coast where you could enjoy a beer or cocktail and watch sunsets at the Beach. There are plenty of venues like this around the world. Why are we so behind? Lets move forward! Yes please bring it back!!!

    Comments: I would love to see Kelp make a comeback. Although I live in Freo and walked past the bar many times, I never managed to make it in for a drink. In my opinion, it's one of the best locations in Fremantle and the open, summery, holiday-feel of the place is the vibe many visitors are looking for when they come to the city. There really aren't any other establishments that offer that to the same extent. I believe it would be a big drawcard for Fremantle. People would come to visit Kelp and they would likely spend time having a proper meal in nearby restaurants, going to the theatres, etc. It would be great for locals as well. What's better for building a sense of community than hanging out on the beach together?

    Comments: Kelp Bar defined what had been missing in Fremantle since the America's Cup in 1987 - a relaxed, artist run bar on the beach promoting the elusive "Freo vibe" of the 70s and 80s. Can't say it any better, it was amazing and I support it's return, great for tourism, great for locals....an iconic landmark!

    Comments: I loved Kelp Bar. It was really great to see so many locals of all ages there. It was a fun, beautiful, down to earth and unique adult bar with real nice mojitos and beers at reasonable prices. Aaaah, if only it would return, our community would be better for it and Fremantle would be a richer place for people to visit.
